Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for supporting our small art studio! Because class sizes are limited and studio time is reserved specifically for each student, advance notice is important. This policy helps us keep classes running smoothly while allowing some flexibility when unexpected things happen. Please do not attend class if you or your child is sick or experiencing contagious symptoms.

Class Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private or semi-private lesson, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or receive a studio credit.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are generally non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • No-shows are considered a late cancellation and are not eligible for a refund or make-up class.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to work with you on a case-by-case basis.

Workshop & Event Cancellations

Workshop and event registrations are non-refundable. Because workshops and special events require advance preparation, materials, and limited seating, we are unable to offer refunds for cancelled registrations.

However, if you are unable to attend a workshop or event and provide at least 48 hours' notice, you may choose one of the following options:

  • Transfer to another class or workshop of equal or lesser value, subject to availability; or

  • Apply the amount paid toward a class or workshop of greater value, with the difference in price due at the time of registration.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or do not attend, the registration is forfeited and is not eligible for a refund, transfer, or credit.

Workshop and event registrations are not transferable to another person unless approved by the studio in advance.

Multi-Class Sessions & Packages

For multi-week classes, workshops, or prepaid lesson packages, your enrollment reserves a specific place in the class.

Once a session or package has begun, refunds for missed classes are generally not available. When possible, an approved absence may be made up during another available class or rescheduled by arrangement with the studio.

Unused classes or credits are not redeemable for cash.

Studio Cancellations

If the studio must cancel a class or lesson due to instructor illness, an emergency, unsafe weather conditions, or another circumstance beyond our control, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class.

If a make-up class cannot be arranged, the affected class may be refunded or credited toward a future class.

Weather & Unexpected Closures

The safety of our students and instructors comes first. If severe weather or another unsafe condition requires the studio to close, affected students will be notified as soon as possible.

A cancelled class due to studio closure will be rescheduled or credited.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment whenever possible.

Studio credits may be offered in place of a refund at the studio's discretion.

Please allow 5–10 business days for approved refunds to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider.

Our Goal

We want our cancellation policy to be fair to both our students and our small studio. Reserving a class means that time, space, and materials are set aside specifically for you. At the same time, we understand that life happens, and we will always try to approach unusual circumstances with kindness and flexibility.
